In my years as a filmmaker, I wore a lot of hats.

I produced shoots, cast the perfect subjects, and ran sound in the field. I also conducted the ‘business’ that propelled my films. I fundraised, identified our film’s core audiences, created powerful partnerships, and coordinated national campaigns to screen and sell our work.

A few highlights:

  • I’ve produced four films: Roughing It: Mongolia, Diamond in the Dunes, Age of Champions, and America Lost

  • My work has broadcast on PBS nationally and been praised in outlets like the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and NPR

  • I’ve raised over $900,000 in grants for my films during production

  • I’ve spearheaded a series of hybrid distribution campaigns, including a 20-state theatrical tour and grassroots screening campaign reaching over 3,000 communities

  • I’ve leveraged partnerships with advocacy groups like AARP and the Alzheimer’s Association and companies like Cigna Health to propel my film’s engagement campaign, which generated over $1.5 million
